Teepa Snow, Memory Care Consultant
St. Joseph's Assisted Living and Memory Care is honored to work closely with Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA. Teepa is one of America's leading educators on dementia care and guides The Arbor Company's memory care programs. With more than 30 years experience in geriatrics, she has worked in all aspects of the field, from research to training direct-care staff. Her approach focuses on personalizing care for each resident and preserving the individual's functional abilities in a compassionate setting. The goal: a heightened level of resident engagement in meaningful activities. Teepa has worked at the Alzheimer's Association of Eastern North Carolina, the Duke University School of Nursing and the UNC School of Medicine. Published extensively on the topics of aging and dementia, she has been honored with numerous national awards. Teepa helps St. Joseph's Assisted Living and Memory Care implement cutting-edge ideas, our exclusive Dementia Care Specialist training program, and care that engages, calms and enriches the lives of our residents. Jim Lee, Dining Consultant
Owner of Southern Hospitality Consulting, Jim Lee provides oversight and guidance to every aspect of our dining program. St. Joseph's Assisted Living and Memory Care's Dining Director works closely with Jim to provide the best dining experience for each resident. From the quality of service to the variety of menu options, rest assured that each meal is enjoyable at St. Joseph's Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Jupiter Medical Center
St. Joseph’s is affiliated with Jupiter Medical Center, a not-for-profit 283-bed community-based regional Medical Center that provides a broad range of services with specialty concentrations in cancer care, orthopedics and spine, emergency services, cardiac services, wellness and rehabilitation and geriatrics.
With an on-site office in our community, Jupiter Medical Center offers residents of St. Joseph's physical, occupational and speech therapy in the comfort of their home. In addition, Jupiter Medical Center’s laboratory
services are provided on-site on a regular basis.
Located only three miles from our community, Jupiter Medical Center also can provide a variety of additional healthcare services, and arrange for complimentary transportation to and from appointments.
